Study Programs

The Center for World Heritage Studies (CWHS) is a collaborative partner in the School of Architecture’s M.S. degree program in Heritage Conservation and Preservation. We also provide other research and study abroad opportunities for students, which involve surveying and documentation of world heritage sites.  These study abroad experiences are often conducted as May-term or summer programs.  Examples of these credit earning programs include: Lamu, Kenya; Ilha, Mozambique; Zanzibar, Tanzania; and Baku, Azerbaijan.  The CWHS is constantly working to develop more opportunities for students to participate in this hands-on approach to heritage conservation and preservation.
